FAQS
-
Based on past experience, we anticipate demand for these rooms will be greater than supply. In order to allocate rooms efficiently and as fairly as possible, you will need to indicate your interest as soon as possible so we can assess how to manage the inventory and to set proper expectations for our campers. Thank you for you understanding.
-
While specific room assignments cannot be guaranteed based on the availability at the campsite, you can request a specific site when you enroll. Make your request in the additional Info area or email justinlim@aol.com
Requests will be considered with priorities given to those physically challenged and new guests.
-
SFCAC wants to encourage full time participation.
If you are interested in coming part time, only standard lodge and standard cabins will be available.
Feel free to ask for a quote and room availability.
-
SFCAC will have the Yurts at Pineknot available. Yurts will be allocated by gender or if
you have a large extended family interested in cabin level.
Big Rock is not part of our current assigned housing inventory - but things can change if demand is high and the Camp still has the housing available.
-
We have decided to just collect paper checks for payment this year and to discontinue electronic payments. You can submit your check to the Summer Camp enrollment staff (Justin Lim, Terence Hui) at any Sunday service. We will not cash the check until the week prior to camp.
With the additional lodging tiers, your total payment amount will be communicated once the room assignment is confirmed. Please monitor your email for the details.
-
If you paid and registered and due to unforeseen circumstances (COVID related or otherwise) you can no longer go, you will receive a full refund (minus a small $5 administrative fee per person). If you are at camp and have to depart early due to any circumstance, a partial refund to the part time charge will be issued.
-
For those who would like to apply for scholarship or financial aid to go to camp, please contact your congregation pastor for consideration. We do have budget to help, but can offer only a standard cabin room for those who are approved.
